We can conduct all phases of equipment development projects including conceptual studies, requirements definition, custom equipment design, system integration, project engineering and field commissioning.
We specialize in laser-based measurement systems and associated software customized for individual applications.
History
RangeMetrics was founded in 2007 to address the specific needs of the foam manufacturing industry. Our initial application-specific design resulted in the BunScanner, a large-scale laser profiler that can measure the height, width and shape of as-poured foam slab stock. Since then, 40 BunScanners have been installed in foam plants in North America and Europe.
As part of the bun measuring process, RangeMetrics has developed a suite of interfaces for foam plant MRP/ERP systems to allow foam dimensions to be incorporated into plant scheduling and inventory/scrap control systems.
